I'm Clive and the Principal of Simply Later Life Planning.
I created Simply Later Life Planning as it is my intention to make a very complex subject as simple as possible to follow.
I believe, under the right circumstances, for the right people, Equity Release is a tremendous solution. However, it's not for everybody.
My key aim is to establish whether it is for you, and if it is, the right way forward.
Bio
Clive was born in Woking, Surrey in 1954, long before the Internet, Facebook and that new Tiktok thing.
He found love in the North and has lived in Rossendale, Lancashire since 1984.
He is married to Julie and they have two adult sons, Theo & Charlie, who conversely have both moved down south to London!
Clive started work in 1970 in the construction industry, as a trainee on the very first jumbo jet hangar.
In 1987, he started a new job in Financial services, finding he had an aptitude for it, and really enjoyed the work. He was only a young thing and full of the joys of Spring.
Now in his late 60's, Clive is still as enthusiastic as he was and has been providing regulated financial advice for over 34 years.
Since April 2021 his work has focused solely on Equity Release, founding Simply Later Life Planning to provide simple and easy to understand advice in this area of Financial Planning.
Out of work, Clive is a keen gardener and is never happier than when fixing something in the shed. He manages Rossendale Rugby's 3rd team and is currently completing his Day Skipper sailing qualification.
